From 22 to 26 August you can enjoy free gigs at Gare Maritime (on the Tour & Taxis site) during our summer festivals Boterhammen in de Stad and Feeërieën, as well as delicious street food in the impressive Food Market and free activities on the AB summer terrace! Discover all the practical info and make it an unforgettable trip.
Food & drink
The Gare Maritime is home to one of the largest food halls in Europe. Enjoy the Food Market with its 10 delicious street food concepts by (inter)national top chefs before or after the concerts! Want to know more? Find out all the information here. You can also bring your own lunch to Boterhammen in de Stad.
The AB-bar again provides refreshment during our summer festivals. Important to know is that we’re cashless this year! You can order and pay via your smartphone with Payconiq or Bancontact. Or simply with your bank card. Have your QR code scanned at the bar and enjoy your order.
Free activities on the AB summer terrace
If you feel like sticking around after the afternoon concerts of Boterhammen in de Stad, this year you can visit the AB summer terrace that lies right between Gare Maritime and Park Tour & Taxis (right behind casa corona). There is plenty to do - from block parties and DJ sets to dance initiations and even music workshops - from 1 pm to 7 pm, when the free Feeërieën concerts start. Discover the full programme here.
By train, metro, bus or bike to Gare Maritime
Gare Maritime (Picardstraat 3, 1000 Brussels) is easily accessible by public transport. At the festival site, 2000 festivalgoers can enjoy the music at the same time. So get there in time to redeem your spot - sitting or standing.
Take the train to Brussels North or the metro to Ribaucourt, Ijzer or Pannenhuis. From the metro stops, you can walk to Gare Maritime in 10 minutes. From the Brussels-North train station you can walk to the site in half an hour. Don't feel like covering that distance on foot? In Brussels-North you can take one of the four STIB buses (14, 20, 57, 88) that stop nearby. There are also bike racks for the more sporty among us.
Accessibility
At the entrance of Gare Maritime there is a ramp to allow wheelchair users access to the site. There is an area for people with disabilities near the stage. There is also an adapted toilet on site. And 5 parking spaces are reserved for holders of a parking card for people with disabilities. More information on that here. A hearing loop will be provided at the festival. This year there are no Flemish Sign Language interpreters present during Boterhammen in de Stad.
