Aside from supporting young talent, AB is also known for getting the true classics over to Belgium! So it was that we had visits in recent months from the likes of The Sisters of Mercy, Joe Jackson, Golden Earring en UB40 in our main hall. The programme for the coming months is looking at least as good, if not better!

The gang from YES have been active for 10 years already but are still going strong (14/05). These legendary prog-rockers have just released a new LP and will be presenting it together with all their old hits!

In November you will hear one of the most iconic singles ever blast through the AB: Europe celebrates the thirtieth anniversary of ‘The Final Countdown’!  On Thursday 10 November the Swedes will magically convert the Main Hall of AB into a true rock temple!

We wouldn’t want to miss the Belgian classics in AB either… So The Scabs (18/01) will be visiting in 2017 with an acoustic theatre tour, whereby they present all their classics in an intimate setting. Before that though, the AB will again be thrilled by our neighbour Arno (13/10). Just like Raymond van het Groenewoud (23/02) will do in the KVS next year.

Lastly, we’ll have a hip-hop icon on stage: Cypress Hill! These Latino hoppers come to celebrate their 25th anniversary with a cracking concert (21/06) that will be especially ‘Insane in the brain’!

So there will be very many classics appearing in the coming months, ones that you very surely won’t want to miss!
