With the Artist in Residence project, AB wants to provide just that little extra support to up-and-coming and promising talent.
This year we're pleased to set out with Drums are for Parades, Jan Swerts and Sarah Ferri. Sarah Ferri played an impressive set at a Broodje Brussel concert in the Music Village last year.

From one thing came another. There was extensive consideration of how we as AB could be of assistance, as a residency must definitely be made-to-measure for the performer. In the meantime, behind the scenes, she has already found the necessary allies to make the great leap forward without hesitation. Sarah Ferri has already played outstanding support acts for the likes of Caro Emerald (AB), Simply Red (Sportpaleis) and Jools Holland (Bruges and Antwerp). She's hanging out in the studio at the moment to record her debut album and she's been doing that in the good company of none less than Koen Gisen (An Pierlé & The White Velvet). An ideal producer for the unique sound she wants to capture. We offer Sarah two very special stages this summer too: that of the Grote Markt in Brussels, on 11 July - as foretaste and mood-maker for the final concert of Feest in Brussel - and at the end of August in the Warande Park at the Feeërieën festival.
