How healthy is the air around AB? We will soon know the answer to that question through our participation in CuriezenAir. This large scale study was launched on Saturday and AB is taking part too.

Using test tubes on the window, we are measuring the amount of nitrogen dioxide in the outside air for four weeks. We’re wondering whether our green hearts will beat faster when the results are announced… from joy, of course. Exciting!

Healthy air has been a theme at AB for years. We also took part in the large scale Luchtpijp campaign in 2018 and we are placing an air filter on our facade in the Anspachlaan. 

The goal of this research is to accurately map the air quality throughout Brussels: from Ter Kamerenbos to the Wetstraat. This research is a part of the Brussels Clean Air partnership, an initiative to tackle light pollution. Stay tuned for the announcement of the results.
