AB supports good causes. Our heart goes out to inspiring projects that make a difference – with an eye for initiatives in Brussels. For the past six months, we supported Kom Op Tegen Kanker and as of 1 June it will be non-profit Minor-Ndako.
Initially this was already planned for 2019 but, here too, Corona caused delays. So, for the next six months, all cup deposits and free contributions made at AB will go to Minor-Ndako.
What is Minor-Ndako?
Minor-Ndako is a non-profit organisation that offers a warm home to children and young people who have fled their homeland alone. Minor-Ndako offers them personalised shelter, guidance and support. This can range from inclusion in one of the living groups, support to a foster family, or assistance in living independently. Every youngster receives an approach appropriate to their needs.
Children and families from Flanders and Brussels who find themselves in a problematic situation also receive the necessary support. Specifically for Brussels, there are 2 living groups for children from families in Brussels and 2 context counselling services in the region Brussel-Halle-Vilvoorde. Minor-Ndako seeks a sustainable solution for each of them.
You can help too!
Do you want to help children and youngsters too? You can, as aside from financial support there are many ways to be a part of Minor-Ndako. Become a volunteer or support person. Or, become part of the long-term solution via foster care.
