Ancienne Belgique is a vibrant music temple in the heart of Brussels. With around 320 concerts and more than 300,000 visitors per year, AB is one of the top concert venues in Europe. This is all kept on track by a motivated and extremely professional team of 50 employees. To strengthen the communication team, weâre looking for a (f/m/x) expert ticketing & customer service.
Task
- You are a part of the Ticketing sub-team within ABâs communication team. Together with two fine and experienced colleagues, you are responsible for the hundreds of thousands of tickets and token vouchers that fly out the door every year.
- You are jointly responsible for the event management on our various platforms (website, Ticketmatic, Facebook). In relation to this, you maintain an overview of all ticket sales for ABâs concert calendar. Â
- You research innovative online payment options and set up new partnerships with payment- and service-cheque partners.Â
- You come up with campaigns to stimulate ticket sales and to reach a younger & more diverse target group.
- You contribute to ABâs customer service. In this respect, you pay sufficient attention to permanent public inquiry and continuous optimisation of audience comfort.Â
- Together with our digital marketeer, web builder and Ticketmatic, you are responsible for the online customer journey, and you ensure optimisation & innovation of the purchase process.
- You are responsible for reporting audience numbers, ticket revenues, ticket levels and ticket evolutions.
- You are jointly responsible for managing ABâs guestlist and you do so in an honest and well-considered way.
- You will be called upon to man the desk during the day and on concert evenings.
- When necessary, you assist your colleagues in other tasks within the TC Matic (Team Communication Marketing Ticketing).
Profile
- You have at least five years of experience in ticketing, preferably within the music or cultural sector. Knowledge of Ticketmatic is an advantage.
- Enthusiasm, customer-friendliness, and motivation are more important than diplomas.
- You have experience with project management.
- You are stress resistant, know how to organise your work well, and you work very accurately.
- You have a sense of initiative and easily work independently and in a team.
- You are social, communicative, and empathic.
- You can express yourself well, both verbally and in writing.
- You speak and write fluently in Dutch, French, and English.
- You are prepared to regularly work in the evening or weekend (on average 1/week).
