Following the previous releases of concerts by J.A.B. (aka John Also Bennett from Forma), Benoît Pioulard (via the Dauw label) and Kate Carr, now there has been the recent official release of 2 live sets, recorded in the AB Salon.
On July 26, Saudi Arabian-born American electronica artist Bana Haffar put out her debut 'Genera - Live At AB Salon' on the renowned British label Touch. The set was recorded on May 3 last year by Touch label boss Mike Harding. You can listen to (and order) the album here.
A week later, we saw the release of a set played by Mathieus Serruys with his tape-machines in the Salon on 15 June 2019. The cassette release – in 60 copies, on Ghent’s impressive B.A.A.D.M. label – was entirely sold out in a few days but you can still listen to this concert on the label’s Bandcamp page.
