In a previous life, Yello Staelens, better known as Yong Yello, was a member of the legendary hip-hop collective 'Eigen Makelij', in which he collaborated with Tourist LeMC, among others. Later, he became the regular producer of Glints and we now also know him as the new crown prince of Antwerp song.

His debut album 'Marcel & Het Magnetisme Van De Goot' (2021) immediately spawned several big hits. Among others, "Cirkels", "Luchtkasteel" and "Waanzin" left a solid impression on the Flemish public. Yello confirmed this with sold-out venues and powerful festival shows on the meadows of Pukkelpop, Rock Werchter and the Lokerse Feesten.

Recently, Yong Yello presented his new single "Ik moet dringend op vakantie". A catchy song that describes the story of a workaholic. As always, he wraps heavy social themes with irony in catchy melodies, while his signature sound is enriched with vintage samba. The single is a prelude to a new album, to be released in autumn 2025, which he will present exclusively at our AB!
