The word. Writen. Spoken. Sung YASMINE's new theatre project focuses completely on words. Yasmine dismantles her music until only the essence remains: the naked truth, pure poetry. Without frills, honest and fragile. Acoustic. Serious, but always with a wink. Songs that don't shy from the light or the dark side of life. Personal stories that are universal enough for Yasmine to draw you into her story.

The poetry of great Flemish poets like Willem Elsschot and Leonard Nolens don't leave Yasmine unmoved. For that reason she also presents a selection of her favourite poems the audience for this theatre project. Each and every poem can be associated with her own work and in so doing contribute to a unique atmosphere.

To give the show a contemporary touch, Yasmine also brings a VJ with her. He will accompany the poems with the projection of appropriate imagery. In this way word and image combine to form one whole.
