Extremely fine chanson: Ladino, Turkish, Sephardic... Influences from all around the Mediterranean Sea, including Flamenco, come together in Yasmin Levy's impassioned songs. Born in the Bakaa area of Jerusalem, she clearly grew up with lovely, melancholy music.

Those are names of fine businesses and Yasmin Levy also works with the best musicians from Iran, Armenia, Greece, Paraguay, Israel, Turkey, Spain... As if she does indeed strive to achieve a World Village & Harmonia Mundi.
Womex 2002 must have been her big breakthrough, but she now tours the entire world: Israel, Greece, Mexico, a church in Spain, the Sydney Opera House in Australia, the Royal Opera in London, and now also the ABClub in Brussels!
