Flirting with pop, dance & electronica on ‘Plastic Heaven’
With the album ‘Plastic Heaven’ (Pias), the rascals from Willow (from Leuven) have added a striking, electronica-oriented sequel to their successful debut ‘We The Young’ (from 2012). They again approached Arne ‘Styrofoam’ Van Petegem for the production work and that resulted in a mature album full of poppy-sounding songs that readily flirt with electronica and dance.
After Willow bagged 3rd place & the Audience Prize in 2010 at the country's best known rock rally, the band took an annual ticket for Stubru’s De Afrekening, gave it their all twice at Pukkelpop, opened for whoppers like Editors and Paul ‘Interpol’ Banks, and scored a MIA-award for the ingenious ‘Sweater’ video clip. New single ‘Danger’ is also flanked by visual splendour once more... again originating in the impressive mind of artist Filip Sterckx, from Leuven, so be sure to take a peep on Youtube.
