Release show for debut album
Willem Ardui has had a handle on the Flemish music scene for a while. His early solo work began with the track Morse (2016). Together with Beziel Me, it gave a glimpse of Ardui’s ability to move the listener in a gentle and tender way. His songs are whisperings for the listening ear. Delicate confessions and intimate secrets that sound like a reflection of the soul.
After an eight year odyssey, Ardui finally enters our harbour again early next year with his long-awaited debut album. Many will recognize him as the producer-singer of Blackwave.. But whereas Blackwave. tracks are energetic and exuberant, this solo project tends toward an intimate and quiet tone. This side of his musicality manifests itself while whispering in his mother tongue.
