WIES is a Dutch-language pop-trio fro Amsterdam, consisting of Jeanne Rouwendaal, Tobias Kolk and Dan Huijser. Besides influences from alternative rock and electronica, the music of WIES is characterised by an unmistakable DIY mentality. The catchy tracks are also thought-provoking – about both the big questions in life, and the little things that preoccupy a young adult. Their shows in the Netherlands and Belgium attract full venues and ‘Ik Zie Ik Zie’ even made it to 'Catch of the Day' on Studio Brussel.
