The previous two successful editions of Autumn Falls had sold out shows by Low, Pinback, Bill Callahan, SX, Metronomy, Beach House, Ălafur Arnalds, etc⊠The third edition guarantees another surprising, eclectic line-up for the passionate music lover. Autumn Falls 2012 takes place from November 26 till December 2 in the heart of Brussels.
Autumn Falls is a collaboration between local venues and clubs in Brussels (AB, Botanique, Atelier 210, VK, Magasin 4, Maison des Musiques and Madame Moustache) and European booking agency/Benelux promoter Toutpartout. In recent years the indoor music festival has taken up a prominent position in the European fall concert calendar.
Toutpartout was founded in 1994 and organises shows for national and international acts in the Benelux, as well as entire tours throughout Europe.

WHY? (us)
By starting their own band, these two brothers and their schoolmate gave rise to the invention of new words to describe their music. One of these words: folk-hop. As with all their previous albums, the fifth record âMumps, Etc.â will also be released on Anticon, the label that frontman Yoni Wolf helped create.
Deerhoof (us)
Pop = catchy, pop = new, pop = no rules. Thatâs how Deerhoofâs Greg Saunier announced the new album âBreakup Songâ. Since their beginnings as a noise outfit in San Francisco back in 1994, they developed into â at least according to Pitchfork â âthe best band in the worldâ. Not that the word noise alone is adequate; their influence on many a musician in the indie world today is obvious, and thatâs due not in the least to the fact that they are devout to subversiveness.
DIIV (us)
Out of respect for Belgian Dirk Ivensâs industrial project by the same name, Dive was rebaptised DIIV earlier this year. Beach Fossils guitarist Zachary Cole Smith locked himself into a small room in Bushwick (Brooklyn, NY) one summer and emerged with âOshinâ, released this year by Captured Tracks. His influences? Krautrock, psychedelia and the late 80s in Seattle.
BRNS (b)
On January 1st, during the first hours of 2010, Antoine Meersseman and Tim Philippe improvised a first rehearsal in a small room in Brussels. After their show at Atelier 210 a few months later, the music programmer was so impressed that he started the label Limite Records, where the band released their first 7â. Thanks to word of mouth, they have shared the stage with Suuns, Django Django and Cloud Nothings, and expanded their territory from Brussels to Ghent, Bruges, Antwerp and even Paris! And the music itself? It can best be described as an overexposed pastel coloured polaroid of California.
Clinic (uk)
âFree Reignâ, the long awaited seventh album by Clinic, is released November 12th. The Liverpudlian band is best known for their use of vintage keyboards and organs found on flea markets, and for Ade Blackburnâs surrealist lyrics. Without straying too far from their formula, they present their most powerful work to date on this release. Those who never saw them live have no reason to miss out on this four piece dressed up in surgeonâs clothes!
