Presents third album
With an insane post-punk sound, Fenne Kuppens' deep voice and compelling live performances, Whispering Sons quickly made a name for themselves on the Belgian music scene. Today, the five-piece releases their third album 'The Great Calm' and immediately announces a new concert date for the end of the year.
Over the past few years, Whispering Sons has slowly but surely pushed and exceeded the boundaries of its own sound. While debut album 'Image' (2018) is theatrical and grandiose, follow-up 'Several Others' (2021) focuses more on the band's strongest side: pure, unpretentious intensity. After the release of 'Several Others', the band spent two years working on a new album. More upbeat and playful, this third album surprises, but retains the Whispering Sons DNA of darkness and raw energy and emotion. The band is eager to perform the new songs live. After a European tour in spring and a performance at Rock Werchter this summer, Whispering Sons is bringing its devastating energy to AB. Not to be missed!
