The British capital also houses the Bella Union label that recently released their untitled debut album. ‘Wonderfully keen indie-pop songs’ wrote HUMO, after which the weekly additionally cited references like The Shop Assistants, The Wedding Present and The Velvet Underground. Gringo Star have defaulted and will be replaced by Ping Pong Tactics (who have already shared a stage here with Wavves). They warrant pretty much the most barren and purest rock-sound in Belgium's contemporary underground scene. Their sound goes back to the immense no-wave past of a number of New York acts from the late seventies and the indie-rock of the nineties. Their debut was recorded by Pascal Deweze (Sukilove, Metal Molly, Broken Glass Heroes) and will be released as a 12" vinyl! Something for fans of The Drums, Pete & The Pirates, Best Coast and The Fall.
