He was to be heard on the classic album ‘Blue Lines’ (’91) by Massive Attack and with his debut ‘Maxinquaye’ (’95) – a tribute to his deceased mother – he promptly had an album to his own name. He has worked with Björk and Neneh Cherry and in '12 he even did a guest performance with Beyoncé at Glastonbury.
Over 20 years he has released no less than 10 albums, including his latest ‘Adrian Thaws’, titled with the name he received at birth.
