His meteoric rise allowed him to develop a rigorous work ethic that later turned into an obsession, culminating in crippling anxiety in 2018. In his latest release, the 30-year-old recounts this complicated episode in his life through dark and intimate lyrics. 'monsters' also marks a musical turn to electronic and DIY sounds.
