There’s something cooking in the kitchen… According to Facebook, Limburg's The Sore Losers are merrily mixing in their cooking pots in order to soon serve you up a successor to their much-savoured, untitled debut. It smells like wonderfully robust, well-stewed 70's guitar-rock again!

These furious non-winners went hard in ’10: the entirely appropriate 2nd place in Humo’s Rock Rally (behind School Is Cool) and a handful of impressive singles (‘Beyond Repair’, ‘Juvenile Heart Attack’ & ‘Silver Seas’) that overpowered Belgium's radio-land, plus the overwhelming main stage kick-off at the dramatic Pukkelpop of ’11.

The Losers dove into Gothenberg's Svenska Grammofon Studion this year. Rudolf – motherf*cker from hell - de Borst (bassist and vocalist of The Datsuns) sat behind the dials of the sound console on which Led Zeppelin once recorded their ninth and last album ‘Coda’. There’s definitely rock&roll magic in the air! “It flies, it pumps, it cries, it laughs, it yearns, it despises, it splatters, it glows, it moves, it shakes, it refuses, it accepts, it confuses and reassures, and it deceives. But it doesn't lie and it certainly doesn't disappoint” is what our favourite Belgian leather jackets want to have us know.
