A fine extra, as warm-up for the concerts that evening: following on from their album ‘Vanguard’, our Artist In Residence The Sedan Vault has thrown itself into an e-novel: a website with a sort of digital short-story based upon their lyrics. Designer Dave Decat (Carhartt) provided the original album cover, photographer Danny Willems did the video clip and digital graphic designer Criticus Design has now created this concluding piece on the internet. He has animated the rise and fall of a gang of arsonists in a sober, monochrome style. The Sedan Vault will present the soundtrack live: cinema meets internet meets electronic noise.
