The Jezabels is an impressive Australian foursome revolving around the heavenly voice of Hayley Mary (and, my, what a name!)

Initially a duo - together with keyboard player Heather Shannon - but soon went from small-town Byron Bay to big-city Sydney and gained guitarist Sam Lockwood and drummer Nik Kaloper.
The result is a fiercely exaggerated, rather 'gothic melodramatic intense indie' that holds its own against the likes of Siouxsie & The Banshees but should also appeal to various fans of Kate Bush, Fleetwood Mac or Florence & The Machine!
First there were 3 EPs: ‘The Man Is Dead’, ‘She's So Hard’, ‘Dark Storm’. Now there is finally a CD ‘Prisoner’, out here via Pias and bearing a very clever cover!
Following live successes in Australia, the USA and our neighbouring countries... now finally too: The Jezabels in Belgium's AB!?

Support-act will be Coffee or Not, alias the rather stimulating local couple Soho and Renaud. They've just put together their second CD 'Gone' and did so at home, with the assistance of Rudy Coclet.
