Acoustic US country-billy trio delicatesse

The Devil Makes Three is a passionate American trio. Acoustic folk, country and roots music, 'with a slightly punky perspective on vintage American blues.' But then with fragments of ragtime or rockabilly too.
No drums here, only the talents of guitarist/frontman Pete Bernhard, Lucia Turino on the upright bass and guitarist Cooper McBean.

Or also: 'Sourcing blues and throwing in fierce finger-picking guitar, a little slide, tenor banjo and rocking upright bass...' Add to that: glorious harmonies with a repertoire of favourite covers and corresponding own songs.

Hailing from Vermont, with a past in diverse punk and rock bands, but apparently they only found one another in this 'old blues and country-styled acoustic music' at the start of this century. The latest CD is 'I'm A Stranger Here'.
