The Americans from The All-American Rejects had a hit right away in 2002 with the single ‘Swing, Swing’, taken from their untitled debut. Their second album ‘Move Along’ was also very successful, mainly in their homeland, and scored a modest hit here with the single ‘Dirty Little Secret’. Following their third album, released late last year, now Europe is falling in large numbers for the perfect pop-punk of this foursome from Stillwater, Oklahoma. The reason being catchy, summer song ‘Gives You Hell’, which is to be found on the ‘When The World Comes Down’ album. An album produced by Eric Valentine, who we also know from the notes on covers of Lostprophets and Taking Back Sunday albums.
Support act will be American punk-rock band American Steel. Their 2 most recent albums ‘Destroy Their Future’ and ‘Dear Friends And Gentle Hearts’ were released on the Fat Wreck label of Fat Mike (NOFX). In the summer of 2008 they toured with Alkaline Trio, and in 2009 the foursome from Oakland will be heading out on the road with The All-American Rejects.
First band on stage will be The Upwelling from America. This band was discovered by Third Eye Blind and later taken under the wings of The All-American Rejects. Rejects frontman Tyson Ritter signed them on his label, released their debut album 'An American Stranger' this summer, and is now taking the band on tour to Europe again.
