2017 was the year of Tamino & 2018 will be the year of Tamino!

‘Belgisch-Egyptische songschrijver was een van de muzikale sensaties van 2017’ headlined De Morgen just recently. And that’s no lie. With only two EPs on his CV, Tamino sold out every venue (AB, De Roma and Vooruit) he played and to top it all off he charmed Rock Werchter with ease. His singles were played like crazy on all radio stations and 2018 is looking even more promising. Not only are foreign countries making eyes at him – The Independent wrote the following of his vist to Eurosonic: ‘Tamino has the most extraordinary voice we've heard in a long, long time’ – but Tamino will also deliver his long-awaited debut. May we add an actual AB concert to that?

Fun fact

Tamino had only just been crowned winner of De Nieuwe Lichting 2017 (Studio Brussel) when, a month later, he already sold out two days in the AB Club. He then, in pre-sale, sold out a Main Hall in the fall of ’17.
