Choreographer Dimitri Chamblas teams up with ‘one of rock’s boldest women’
This show is a co-presentation with Les Halles and takes place in Les Halles de Schaerbeek, Grondwetstraat 20, 1030 Schaerbeek.
Choreographer Dimitri Chamblas’ and musician Kim Gordon’s (Sonic Youth, Free Kitten, ...) creation is a performance with ten dancers, five electric guitars and five amplifiers that take shape at night under the streetlights or starry sky, among fireflies and headlights, footsteps or stealthy movements of nocturnal animals.
In that environment, silhouettes and sounds emerge, elusive yet familiar, intertwined and interdependent. Those shadows are the forgotten people of the great metropoles, prisoners and the elderly, unproductive, neglected and indecisive minds. They wander, hesitate or suddenly assert a vital impulse, make an attempt, repeat it, share it.
