The minimalist compositions for acoustic instruments, electronica and voice by Brussels-resident Frenchman Sylvain Chauveau are familiar to us from his many wonderful albums (released on labels like Factcat, Type, Nature Bliss, Brocoli…) and collaborations in ‘On’ (with Steve Hess), ‘O’ (with Joël Merah & Stéphane Garin) and Arca (with Joan Cambon). In August 2017 there will be a new album, ‘Post-Everything’, containing more song-based material. It is the third and final part of a trilogy in which Chauveau has deconstructed the pop-song format.
