Purveyor of catchy songs like ‘Michael Jordan’ and ‘Area 51’ put up a wall of ‘90's guitar sound.
Superlijm is, as ever, Pieter-Jan Delesie. He who conquered the airwaves with the infectious hits ‘Michael Jordan’ and ‘Area 51’. On his, now available, debut he turns all the way back to the 90’s guitar scene and allows himself to be inspired by the best of Guided By Voices, Pavement, Dinosaur Jr. and Grandaddy – something that a band like Yuck also does successfully these days. Superlijm has now developed into a five-member band that is currently working industriously in the studio on its debut. The result will be presented to press and public on Wednesday 26 October.
We've presented a number of much talked about Coca-Cola Sessions over the past 2 seasons, with sold-out concerts by Customs, Balthazar, The Tellers, Addicted Kru Sound feat. Selah Sue and Intergalactic Lovers. At the end of 2011 it will be the turn of Sunday Bell Ringers and Superlijm, amongst others.
