Dutch globetrotter & the planet Mens!

Concert

STEPHANIE STRUIJK in the park, you’ve got to admit we couldn’t miss this angle (struijk = shrub). This Dutchwoman recently took a roadtrip through The States with Daniël Lohous and she returned with a baker’s dozen of new songs, though admittedly not in the language of Neil Young. ‘Ergens langs de snelweg’ is the title of the release, with an accompanying video full of rich imagery and sounds on her website! Nice work Struijk!

DE MENS in the wild, astray amongst all that animal activity abandon!? Yup, and finally hard at it again on stage at the Boterhammen. ‘Cause it was about time. Under the title ‘Nooit genoeg, en meer’ – referring to their latest, very best, eleventh CD – plus the more than twenty years of ‘classic’ work by our …euh… hard-working, sometimes hard-rocking fellow huMANs, of course.
