Already back at AB: SWS goes hard!
At a scorching speed! That's the answer to the question: how fast was the AB Club concert by post-hardcore-pride Sleeping With Sirens sold out? The five from Florida don't sit still… their third longplayer ‘Feel’ will be in stores on June 4 and they'll be touring themselves to bits in Europe before heading out onto the fields in the US, with the Vans Warped Tour caravan and toppers like Bring Me The Horizon, Billy Talent, Blessthefall, The Used and August Burns Red.
Their new single ‘Low’ is again bursting with catchiness and collected more than a million views and thousands of thumbs up after two weeks floating around in the YouTubosphere! For the wizz-kids amongst us who can't read between the lines: buy a ticket for the AB Box concert on 19 September, at the speed of light if you want to see Kellin Quinn and cohorts at work. It'll soon be a done deal once more...

We get things started with a good taste of Australian talent. Kicking off with The Getaway Plan from Melbourne, that – after splitting up in ’09 – came up with ‘Requiem’ as comeback album following debut ‘Other Voices, Other Rooms’. They certainly come across as harder, faster and stronger than they used to be, so hopefully they continue in the same vein on stage in AB.
After that it will be the turn of their neighbours from Canberra, Hands Like Houses, who launched their album ‘Unimagine’ this summer via Rise Records (Sleeping With Sirens, The Devil Wears Prada). Melodious, emotional vocals in a post-hardcore jacket, with a good portion of electronica mixed in. Those sleeping sirens will certainly be shaken awake!
