Sizzla is still one of the greatest contemporary names of the reggae and dance hall scene. Is currently a follower of the Bobo Ashanti’s within the Rastafari movement. In the mid 90’s he formed a musical team with ‘Bobby Digital’ Dixon for a series of singles. Through that musical liaison he landed in the reggae dancehall pantheon with performers like Luciano and Buju Banton. With the latter (and Capleton and Anthony B) he now once again preaches the Rastafarian values. His most recent album (he already has 45 to his name) is called ‘Ghetto Youthology’ and was produced by the Firehouse Crew, who also worked on his debut ‘Burning Up’ and this time also share the stage live.
