An eventful evening that promises to be full of strong emotions.
"Live in the moment not through your lens! Try to enjoy the experience as much as you can, think about people behind you and keep your phone in your pockets also think about others who haven't seen the show so maybe don't post them yet”
Thanks, Siouxsie
Siouxsie Sioux is making a comeback. Famous as the singer of Siouxsie and the Banshees, but also as the figurehead of The Creatures and a well-known solo artist, she will be on stage at AB. An eventful evening that promises to be full of strong emotions.
Siouxsie's powerful, uncompromising and provocative work is incomparable and her impact on musical culture is colossal. Since her first appearance at the 100 Club Punk Festival in 1976, the singer has enjoyed a career without fail with her innovative approach to music, which is unparalleled and has inspired musicians of all generations. Admired by her peers (Robert Smith is one of her greatest admirers), she boasts a fabulous repertoire with iconic songs such as "Hong Kong Garden", "Happy House", "Christine", "Israel", "Spellbound" and so many others. An adventurous artist, she does not hesitate to reinvent herself, as with the wonderful side project The Creatures. In 2007, Siouxsie released her first solo album, 'Mantaray', and the tour that followed was sold out everywhere she went. The following year, she appeared at the World Soundtrack Awards with Angelo Badalamenti to perform 'Careless Love' from John Maybury's The Edge of Love. Her last appearance was in 2013 on stage at London's Royal Festival Hall as part of 'Yoko Ono's Meltdown' where she played two sold-out shows, surprising the 5,000-strong audience with a full, unheralded performance of 'Kaleidoscope', Siouxsie and the Banshees' legendary 1980 album, alongside a myriad of hits from "Face to Face" to "Here Comes That Day".
