Celebrating 25 years and a tenth album
Sharko is back with a new and – as ever – misleadingly sunny song. Various readings are possible for this ‘very beautiful day’, as we seem to be navigating between sincere momentum and biting reality, awash with new wave arpeggios and singing horizons.
French-speaking news anchor François de Brigode can be heard in the introduction of the song and indulges in vocal musings as a part of the backings in the chorus. Sharko: "We were amused by the discrepancy: the man who has been broadcasting dark news for 25 years is now announcing a beautiful day!”
Sharko’s new single is the prelude to the new album that is to be released in spring 2024, along with a big return to AB. This time accompanied by a brass section for an exceptional and unique concert.
