The glorious return of Sharko with a brand new album!

It is now already 20 years since Sharko – the band around pivotal figure David Bartholomé – put out their highly acclaimed debut ‘Feuded’. In those 20 years… Sharko released five albums, opened for both Paul Weller and Muse, and worked with top producers like Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes) and Dimitri Tikovoi (Goldfrapp, Placebo, …). After a considerable hiatus (2010-2016), Sharko totally returned though. He commenced his famous living-room concert tour (that now counts more than 200 shows) and he is present with a brand new album that will be out this fall, produced by Luuk Cox (Stromae, Girls In Hawaii, …) and Stan Neff (Christine And The Queens, Camille, …), amongst others.

Fun fact

In 2004, a then illustrious French triple-bill (Girls In Hawaii – Ghinzu - Sharko) surprised friend and foe by suddenly selling out the Main Hall (2000 tickets!). A newspaper headlined: ‘The day that Walloon rock became full-grown.’
