Comeback of great blues artist
2024 marks Seasick Steve's comeback with a new album and a new European tour in the autumn. On Thursday 24 October, you can see this great blues performer at Ancienne Belgique.
Almost 20 years ago, Seasick Steve, then an unknown American singer-songwriter, gave a masterful performance at British presenter Jools Holland. The man had nothing but an old stompbox and a dilapidated three-string guitar. And yet his performance was a hit, the impact of which can still be felt almost 20 years later. Since then, Seasick Steve has played at almost every major festival in the world, sold nearly 2 million albums worldwide and released three top 10 albums in the UK. His new album 'A Trip A Stumble A Fall Down on Your Knees' will be released on 7 June and, according to the artist himself, is already his most successful yet. After unveiling a first track, the promising "Backbone Slip", the bluesman makes no secret of the fact that he is excited about the idea of hitting the road with his new songs and his greatest classics. As always, Seasick Steve has a memorable night in store for us on 24 October in AB. Not to be missed!
