Belgian première of the new The Doors film
The Doors: Feast of Friends (39 min.) is the first and only film that The Doors made about The Doors. We gain an intriguing insight into what went on around one of the best bands of the period. Filmed during their summer tour of 1968, we see various concert recordings edited together, with backstage footage and images shot by the band itself. We see a sometimes playful, sensitive and chaotic image of the band at the peak of their fame.
Aside from a few screenings at film festivals in the late ’60s, this is the official release. The film is colour-corrected and cleaned up in high-definition, and the soundtrack has been re-mixed and re-mastered by Bruce Botnick.
