Record number five! Refreshing without having to sacrifice the familiar sound

"Record number five! Have we really been at this long already?" asks Johannes Genard. "I have the feeling I've only just got the hang of it. While album number four, Things That Don't Go Right, was virtuosically cut short by the pandemic in March '20, Genard began writing the next one. "If you don't plow through, you give in," he says. The plodding became a collection of thirteen emotional, energetic songs, with the typical weird School is Cool choices and a lot of fun to play. Brittle Dream will be the name of the record and the atmosphere within the band is better than ever. "After Matthias Dillen, our drummer since the very beginning, left the group, Niels Meukens is now settled in and fully acclimatised.
