Mary Sutton is the creative ‘mastermind’ behind Saloli. The multi-instrumentalist from Oregon, Portland, comes to present her debut album ‘The Deep End’ (Kranky). Wonderful hypnotic ambient on a soft bed of analogue synths.

Alongside her solo work, Sutton is also a part of the ‘Emahoy Sheet Music Project’. An initiative that transcribes the works of Ethiopian pianist Emahoy Tsegue-Maryam Guebrou and publishes it, so that her work can be spread around the world.
