'Do For Love', that's this songstress' touching hit-single. Her origins are in Suriname but she's entirely at home in Holland, where she's already achieved fine prizes too. Amongst others, Rotterdam's Talent Night in 2006, as a result of which she was able to perform in the legendary Apollo theatre in Harlem New York (where Billie Holiday, Sam Cooke and James Brown also shone.) And, if possible, even more impressive: 'Yellow Brick Road', her debut CD, will soon be immediately released on the equally legendary Blue Note label. Those who have heard her notice the relevant arrangements, but the glowing sound situates Sabrina Starke right there between the best productions of e.g. Burt Bacharach. She can do it alone too, simply voice and guitar, but for this exclusive CD launch Sabrina Starke will indeed be doing it with 'full band'. Do For Love, live!
