The powermetal band Sabaton played last year 18 dec 2011 an amazing show in Trix club (Antwerp) and announced at that time that they will comeback to graspop metal meeting 2012 with a new album.
now they can also announce that they will play for the first time in there career in the AB in Brussels
Saying that Sabaton has always been a crowd favourite is undoubtedly an understatement. Last summer’s first live release World War Live: Battle of the Baltic Sea captures the essence of Sabaton’s live prowess. NOW they’re coming back on tour armed with their eighth album, CAROLUS REX that will be released 25 may 2012.
Sabaton announced on 30 march on their website that the band’s current incarnation has decided to split. Bassist Pär Sundström and vocalist Joakim Brodén will continue to make music under the Sabaton flag, whereas the other band members have chosen to explore new musical horizons.
Sabaton present their new lineup as follows:
Joakim Brodén - Vocals
Pär Sundström - Bass
Chris Rörland - Guitars
Thobbe Englund - Guitars
Robban Bäck - Drums
At the moment they are still searching for a keyboard player. Until they have found the right guy Sabaton will still have Daniel Myhr, in digital form, since he has specially recorded all keyboards to use on tour.
