Glorious return of this drum ’n bass pioneer
Bristol played, and still does play, a crucial role in the development of electronic dance. Think: Portishead, Massive Attack, Tricky and also, of course, drum ’n bass collective Reprazent (with Roni Size out front). Their platinum debut ‘New Forms’ (from ’97 already) was extremely popular at the time and even won the prestigious Mercury Prize.
Together with companions DJ Die, Krust and Suv, he was also the founder of the Full Cycle label that made furore in AB during the period ’01-’03, with the hottest of drum ‘n bass. Now he's back to again claim his place in musical history. As Reprazent (with new material) and as drum ’n bass pioneer. Welcome back Roni!
