What do you want Brussels to be in 2030?
On 9 September 2023 Ancienne Belgique is encouraging our future generation to speak up about representativity and inclusivity in Brussels, through art. This is an initiative by the Youth Coalition, aiming to fulfil our city’s main potential through the voices of young people. It’s part of Brussels' candidacy for European Capital of Culture in 2030.
The musical lineup is curated by Brussels2030, feminist platform rebel and La Forestière, a platform pushing Brussels-based artists. You’ll be treated to gigs by Zedié, STACE, Ysmé, Youssef Swatt’s and Gucc Imane. All of these talented musicians are living proof of the incredible cultural richness of Brussels.
Join us, make yourself at home and dance the night away in the company of Brussels finest young artists.

What’s the Youth Coalition?
The Youth Coalition will take place on 9,10 & 24 September 2023 at the Parliament of the Brussels-Capital Region. During this conference these young representatives aim to maximise the potential of our city and set the agenda for Brussels2030.
Over the course of these 3 days, 100 youngsters between the age of 15 and 30 will rethink what our capital stands for. To do that, they will look at the more than 1000 questions that were raised along the Speak Up Brussels! journey.
This event is organised by Brussels2030, Ancienne Belgique, rebel & La Forestière.
