All the hits + new ‘Chocolate Factory’ album, on one night
Well, who've we got here: the wonderfully insane Primus again! The trio turned out their eighth LP ‘Primus & the Chocolate Factory with the Fungi Ensemble’ in October last year, a flipped-out adaptation of the original ‘Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory’ soundtrack from ’71. Totally absurd, eccentric and exciting… Just as we expect Les Claypool, Larry LaLonde and Tim Alexander to be then.
Their two previous AB concert, in 2011 & 2012, were sold out in the blink of an eye and there was chaos when hits like ‘John The Fisherman, ‘Jerry Was A Race Car Driver’, ‘My Name Is Mud’ and ‘Wynona’s Big Brown Beaver’ blared through the speakers.
This time too, Primus again turns up with a two-part set: one focused upon the new ‘Chocolate Factory’ album and one old school Primus set, with all the hits from a more than thirty year long career full of musical insanity.
