With a first new single ‘Sensational’ released as prelude to a brand new second album that is to be unleashed in spring 2023, Portland is all set to continue on their successful path. Aside from new music, they also announce a first concert date. Portland will play an already memorable performance on stage at AB.

The fairy-tale around Portland continues to be written. After winning Studio Brussel’s Nieuwe Lichting in 2018, they conquered musical hearts in Belgium and further afield in record time. Their dreamy electronica combined with sincere indie-pop proves to be a recipe for success that Sarah Pepels and Jente Pironet serve up with their own musical sauce. Singles “Pouring Rain” and “Lucky Clover” were a prelude to stunning debut album ‘Your Colours Will Stain’ that came out in 2019 and received unanimous rave reviews. “Killer’s Mind”, “Expectations”, “You Misread Me” and “Ally Ally”…a first album that impresses, full of sublime hits. That success translated into intense and compelling live concerts on the stages of AB, Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop. Anno 2022, Portland is ready for the next chapter in their own Belpop story, starting with a second album and a magnificent concert at Ancienne Belgique on April 19!
