Fashionable art rock from Las Vegas provides theatrical spectacle
After all that dance and hip-hop of previous years, it’s time for the return of the guitar. Bands like Shame, Royal Blood, Greta Van Fleet, Nothing But Thieves and Goat Girl shine on countles stages and can regularly be heard on diverse radio stations. One of the most striking new names on this scene is Palaye Royale, three brothers from Las Vegas who combine solid rock-’n-roll with modern elements and a healthy feel for style. We might not recognize frontman Leith Remington on the street, but we’ve certainly heard him before. He provided the vocals for the songs used in the film ‘American Satan’. In this film about the life of an up-and-coming rock band, we see Andy Biersack (Black Veil Brides) play and sing but we hear the voice of Leith.
