As scions of a musical family, Ed and Tom Russell soon turned away from their classical upbringing to immerse themselves in electro and techno sounds. They each follow their own path: Tom as 'Truss' and Ed as 'Tessela,' while also gaining a solid reputation as producers within the UK underground scene. In 2016 their collaboration really took shape under the name Overmono. After featuring with Joy Orbison and producing remixes for Thom Yorke and Four Tet, the two brothers produce a string of strong songs including 'Cash Romantic' and 'Gunk'. Praised for their clever one-two punch with genres like techno, garage and drum & bass, Overmono takes listeners on an emotional rollercoaster that mixes genres with ease.
