Ought is an American band living in Montreal. A left field band, they pretty quickly bring us to the renowned Constellation Records, run by Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Their debut album ’More Than Any Other Day’ is full of fresh, energetic art punk. The very nasal voice of singer/guitarist Tim Beeler is reminiscent of David Byrne and Violent Femmes’ Gordan Gano.
