Othin Spake is the stunning collaboration and improvisation project of drummer Teun Verbruggen (Jef Neve), guitarist Mauro Pawlowski (dEUS) and keyboard player Jozef Dumoulin. Since their establishment in ’05, they've played at AB (as opener for Mike Patton & John Zorn, amongst others), at North Sea Jazz, the Ghent Jazz Festival and Jazz Middelheim. This team will very soon be releasing ‘The Nethack Dictionary’ (Sub Rosa), just call it a ‘live best of’, their most exciting collaborations with the likes of Trevor Dunn (Fântomas), Fred Vanhove, Magik Malik…
Considering the members' background, getting Othin Spake together in once place is certainly no simple task. What's more, to celebrate this and the album release, Othin Spake will perform with a special line-up that includes Pierre Vervloesem, Sickboy Milkplus and Mathieu Callejah. All visually coloured by the VJ-collective Unfold.

9:30pm BRZZVLL
If SBTRKT (pronounced: Subtrakt) can become popular, then BRZZVLL (pronounced: Brazzaville) can too. They describe their sound as ‘improvised future psy-funk’, you can call it psychedelic jazz and funk with a modern twist. Their latest album was nominated for a MIA last year and they've opened for the likes of Marcus Miller.
