In her debut EP “Prisme,” Orlane navigates through the stages of existence with sounds that blend modern pop, unbridled electro, and high-value French song. This young 25-year-old singer-songwriter addresses everyday stories, often her own, reminding us that life, even when fully embraced, is far from a calm river.
Poetic, metaphor-rich, and nurtured by French literature, Orlane's pen seduces as much by its fluidity as by its depth. Orlane also sees colors in sounds and melodies. This peculiarity has a name: synesthesia. It is the natural association of two senses. Some people attribute smells or tastes to words. For Orlane, it is colors that come to mind.
Piano lessons from the age of eight, learning the guitar, and now discovering the saxophone. Orlane is an accomplished musician whose creativity also expresses itself on stage and in her clips, which underline her message with dreaminess. Freshly graduated -with honors- in medicine, Orlane has made the bold decision to prioritize the rhythm of her heart over that of stethoscopes.
