The phenomenon from Santa Cruz is no newcomer to the international scene. Since 2013 (with the release of his first EP under the name Tree) he has amassed more than 4 billion streams, over 1 billion views on YouTube and more than 14 million followers on TikTok. He has achieved his international star status as a singer, producer, screenwriter, director and multi-award-winning artist. He likes to shake things up by mixing pop and indie, art and entertainment. He cleverly employs a Dadaist "meta-humour" à la Kaufman to dissect the absurdity of modern culture, the obsession with celebrities and the excesses of social networks, and audiences love it. His tours sell out in record time and he regularly tops the charts and better playlists worldwide. The release of his third album anticipated on 29 September is hugely anticipated. On 'Alone In A Crowd', Oliver Tree explores themes of loneliness, deconnection and human existence. He also introduces a new character called Cornelius Cummings, a fashion designer who allows his latest creations to be discovered.
