On 12 January 2010 OK GO will be releasing a new album entitled ‘Of The Blue Colour Of The Sky’ (Capitol, here via EMI), this time produced by David Fridmann (Flaming Lips, MGMT). An album that'll sound quite a bit more eclectic, if we can judge by advance single ‘WTF?’ (to be heard now on their websites). This American power-pop quartet made waves with the video clip to ‘Here It Goes Again‘ from the album ‘Oh No’. The clip was viewed via YouTube almost 50 million(!) times. A genuine achievement, which also resulted in the single making an impression on radio & TV here too. Their album at the time was also full of windmilling rock 'n' roll and new-wave guitars.

Support act will be Deadsets from Antwerp. Unknown until recently but their debut - produced by the gents from The Hickey Underworld - is to be released this year and is a collection of songs influenced by melodious psychedelica and the current Brooklyn-sound.
